Pressey Fire, Spring 2026

In April of 2026, the Pressey Fire broke out close to Oconto in North Central Nebraska. Local firefighters were tasked with putting out this fire, so Hot Meals USA was called in to provide meals for the firefighters. Due to the location of the fire, we were able to prepare and package the meals at our headquarters in Kearney and then transport those meals to the Broken Bow fire station. Again, we are thankful for the volunteers who answered the call to prepare, package, transport, and serve the meals so the firefighters were fed.
